Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Use Owner Information Feature on Lock Screen in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

Owner information is a feature in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that can be used to display your personal information, e.g., your name, alternative phone, email address, etc., on the lock screen. It can be a simple way that can be taken to help you easily find your phone when it lost because that information can help the one who find your phone to easily know how to contact you without having to unlock your phone's screen, especially if you're using one of screen lock types with secure lock settings(PIN, password, fingerprints, or pattern) as the screen lock method.

How to use the owner information feature on the lock screen?
You can do so by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down to find Lock screen and security and then tap it.
  3. Tap Info and app shortcuts.
  4. Tap Owner information.
  5. Write the desired information you want to show on the lock screen and then tap Done button.
  6. Press the Power key twice to go to the lock screen and you'll see the owner information is displayed below the date/time.
