Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: How to Enable and Use Quick Reply Feature in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

When the edge lighting feature in your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is enabled, you can use the quick reply feature so you can easily and quickly reject calls with preset messages simply by placing and holding your finger on the heart rate sensor for 2 seconds while your phone is turned over.

How to enable the quick reply feature?
You can turn on this feature by using the following steps:
  1. On any screen, swipe down the top of the screen to open up the notification panel and then tap to go to the settings menu.
  2. Scroll down the screen to find Edge screen and then tap it.
  3. Tap Edge lighting.
  4. If Edge lighting is off, tap the ON/OFF switch to turn it on. The switch turns blue when it's enabled.
  5. Tap Quick reply.
  6. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the right to enable the quick reply feature. The switch turns blue when it's enabled.
  7. If needed, you can change the default rejection messages to your own by tapping the message field under the Quick reply message section and then type the desired rejection message you want to use when rejecting calls using the quick reply feature.

How to reject call with the quick reply feature?
When an incoming call arrives while the quick reply feature is enabled and your phone's screen is facing downwards, place your finger on the heart rate sensor(it's located below the flash, next to the rear camera) and hold it in place for 2 seconds to have your phone automatically rejects the call and sends the preset rejection message to the caller.
